Vegetarians/Vegans - Do you take supplements?!

Question: Vegetarians/Vegans - Do you take supplements?
Answers:

No actually, I do not.
I try to incorporate protein in my diet through meat alternatives and garbanzo beans every so often

im vegetarian

I take Deva's vegan multivitamins.

However, you do not need supplements to be a vegetarian.

I just take them, because I don't want to always check labels to make sure I'm getting 100% of each vitamin and mineral.

However, fruits, vegetables, legumes, cereal, rice/soy/almond milk, and imitation meat products have all of the nutrients your body needs.

Vegetarian

No, I used to take a multivitamin(even when I ate meat), but every time I would take one it would cause nausea.

I decided that it would be easier on the stomach, healthier, and less money to simply eat at wide variety of healthy foods to get the nutrients I need.

No, you can get everything from your diet - vitamin B12 (supposedly the vitamin that is 'impossible' to get from a vegan diet) can be found in cereals, soya milk and marmite!

I occasionally take a multivitamin, when I remember, maybe about once a week or so.

Not regularly, though I should get into the habit of taking Vitamin D. I had some blood tests done and that was the only thing I was lacking in my Vegan diet.

I make sure I drink fortified soy milk daily and take a vegan multivitamin with b12 a couple of times a week.
