Making fresh Mozzarella with vegan rennet?!

So i have decided that i want to make fresh mozzarella but without the rennet. I ordered some vegan rennet online (if i am correct its made of mushrooms or some veggie matter)
My question is this: Can i a normal recipe and just substitute vegan rennet? or? does anyone have a website with a recipe?

Sorry if my answer is useless, I'm not sure the answer to your question but because mozzarella is a soft cheese it is normally made from microbial rennet. Most people consider this to be vegan...
