want to go vegetarian?!
Answers:
just tell them you haven't been feeling good lately eating meat. They should understand.
As far as being healthy, make sure you're getting enough protein and iron. Those are two of the things that vegetarians usually lack that make them sickly. You can either take vitamins specifically for that, or make sure you're eating lots of dark greens (spinach for one).
There are a lot of "meat alternatives" out there like tofu, soy, and the like. I have never gone vegetarian, but I drastically cut back on my meat intake and I feel a lot better. One of the best things I found was grilled vegetables....lots of them.
As long as you're only taking about going vegetarian, you should be ok. Vegan is where people really start to need supplements and multivitamins to make up for everything there bodies need.
You wont become malnourished so you dont have to worry about that.
Being a vegetarian is easy these days.
You dont have to worry about protein, its found in all vegetarian foods.
You dont have to take any supplements as some people might claim.
As for your parents, maybe you can sit them down and explain to them why you want to become a vegetarian, they might be ok with it then.
Here is a website with information on vegetarianism.

Good luck
I'm 16, and I went veggie for four years. I eat meat now, but I'd say go ahead!
You don't have to go exclusively veggie like I did. If you have a hankering for meat every now and then, have some; just not too much or very often.
You can be vegetarian by following the vegan recipes
