SURE why not? Most Americans today stuff their faces without considering what they're eating anyway... it's not like anyone cares about anything other than what tastes good, right?
If it tastes good, go ahead and eat it regardless of whether it's healthy or if anyone suffers for our pleasure and hedonism.

Dead organisms don't have interests.
Paying to breed a human, keep it in horrific conditions, and torture it to death so you might eat it is a different story.
If you were in a plane crash, or in the mountains, or somewhere where you needed to survive....consider it...and only if that person is dying anyway. Otherwise, no.
I can't think of any situation in which society as a majority would find it acceptable to eat a fellow human being...
