jello pudding (where you add your own milk) is vegan but it doesn't set as well as dairy milk with soy milk

"The word 'veganism' denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude — as far as is possible and practical — all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, including humans and the environment.

In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."

Basically we eat just about anything so long as it doesn't contain animals or animal products or was tested on animals or anything like that. Going through a list of what we eat would not fit in this space.

However those that simply eat "vegan" are not vegans but strict/pure vegetarians which is a way of eating that doesn't involve eating animals or any animal products

vegan because animals are not property

Certainly vegans have a much more varied diet than typical "meat eaters"
When I was a meat eater I would eat the same foods over and over. Spaghetti, burgers, chicken strips, fries. But now that I'm vegan, I've tried almost every exotic dish imaginable. I cook more, and experiment with different fruits and veggies "normal people" ignore.

Contrary to popular belief, vegans CAN eat bread and pasta, and even baked goods and desserts! (even.... vegan ice cream! I love my coconut milk ice cream) We just choose not to eat any products that come from harmed animals--like milk products or eggs or any kind of flesh.

there is a lot of soy products.
edamame beans are a great choice if you do not like soy.
you can make tofu pot pies, pretty much follow a turkey pot pie recipe but put tofu in it instead.
protien powders, such as IN-JURY or protien H2O.
of couce there is always bean and rice.

and life..

Vegans love animals so much that they try to eat like them whenever possible. The typical vegan has dietary habits similar to a goat. Think cardboard, dirt, grass, oats, hay, paper, etc.

Many vegan friends

vegan is actually more extreme than vegetarians, vegetarians eat cheese and drink milk still, vegans wont even eat skittles cause it has gelatin in it which is made from animals

Fruits
Vegetables
Nuts
Bread
Vegan versions of sweet things (eg. vegan ice cream, chocolate, cookies, cake, etc.)

Etc etc :) We can eat heaps of things :)

Vegan.

All the foods that don't contain meats, fish, poultry etc.

There is a great deal of detail here.
