Any food can go bad if it is not taken care of properly. Even honey will go rancid. When in doubt, throw it out! |That is why there is a "Best Before Date" on most processed food items.
Rancidity in oils and many nuts may be have links to carcinogens, look it up!
Yes every food except for honey will go bad eventually.
