Vegetarian McDonalds?!

Question: Vegetarian McDonalds?
In what year did McDonal's fries become vegetarian?

(Switch from beef fat/beef flavouring to vegetable oil/flavouring)

Thanks!

Answers:

In the US, there is STILL beef tallow in the fries themselves. The oil is veg but the fries are not.

I didn't know they ever did make them vegetarian???

This site has a timeline on the lawsuit: http://www.compassionatespirit.com/McDon…

What's most revealing to me is the back stabbing and infighting among veg*n groups to get their hands on some of that McDonalds $$$$$. They hate McDonalds, but they'd love to have some of that $10million settlement.

I do not know exactly when they became vegetarian, but a letter was written from the manager of the Customer Satisfaction Department in 1993 claiming the french fries and hash browns are cooked in vegetable oil.

What does it matter if they are vegetables or what ever , any food bought at Mc Donald's does not decompose after sitting on a kitchen counter for 6 months so what makes you think they will get digested in the body, so why even buy them . There is no nutrition in them but there are plenty of preservatives !

WOW i never knew macdonald put beef fat in their fries.
i learnt something new today, just another reason to not go macdonalds.
