which vegetables can be steamed?!

Question: Which vegetables can be steamed?
Can I steam spuds, onions or what?
Maybe it's a better question to ask which vegetables CAN'T be steamed.
Are there veg that can't be steamed?
Thanks for your help beautiful people.

Really any can be steamed just some not as long. I.E. a squash will need 20 minutes and spinach 3 minutes. Some are better to sautee then steam but it all up to YOUR taste!

I don't think there are any vegetables that can't be steamed, but some of them could take a long time unless cut up small or thin.

Some types of potatoes may work better than others maybe?

And you could steam onions but remember that they won't carmelize (brown and sweeten) unless you use some oil/fat and saute/grill/etc.
