No I am not a carnist. I gave up meat many years ago and then realized that was silly because I was still exploiting animals actively so I went vegan and have no plans to ever go back but only forward

i also have raised and butchered my own meat, raised chickens for eggs and meat, milked cows, ate cows, the whole bit.
i also have gardened extensively when my children were small and grew, processes and served many many servings of homegrown organic veggies.

I was a vegetarian for over 6yrs but I have started to eat chicken over the past month.
At first my stomach just could barely handle it. It was harsh. I didn't over do it. Although,now I seem to
be craving it. I still don't eat red meat or pork.
I had to add at least 1 solid protein back into my diet. I was having a terrible time with protein deficiency. I do however feel better now. I have had to deal with conflicting moral issues. Whoever, I

I turned veggie 13 years ago for health rather than moral reasons but have recently started to eat some fish. I still feel a bit guilty about it but I do enjoy it.
