Years ago, one of my employees was vegan. She has the prettiest complexion and hair I ever saw.

How old are you? Why do you need your mom's approval?

If you've been vegetarian for three years, tell her you're up to the challenge. I've been vegan for two and a half years now--I started senior year of high school--and I'm still alive and healthy. Look around online for clubs to meet vegetarians, my college has a vegan and vegetarian club, and I'm sure most others do as well. As for dating, that's a common thing, but if you make it clear to your date how you feel about eating meat, a keeper will be polite about it.

you and your mother can look into the following information:

wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia has information on veganism
at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veganism

use the one-word-a-search-idea with words such as: breakfast, lunch, sandwich, snack, dinner, casserole, souffle, dessert, and smoothie in the search box of the following websites:

vegetarian times at http://www.vegetariantimes.com

and veg web at http://vegweb.com

Find a good webside, that briefly explains that your nutrition will not be neglected or comprimised in any way. Print out for your mum, I imagine that's all she would be worried about, good luck

I would definitely add to your justification the knowledge of vitamins for the nutrition you will be.

Ask her for a 90 day trial. Maybe if you do well, she won't have too much of a problem with it. Vegan communities online.

Your mum cant stop you from going vegan.

tell her good reasons why u want to switch. tell her more of the benefits than the downsides if any.good luck!

of course people are going to rub meat in your face. its absurd being a vegan, meat is so important to a daily diet, and tastes soooo much better than the manufactured crap. but as to your question

i would tell her why you want to be a vegan, give her plenty of reasons of why you feel like you want to do this.
