Where do the mono- and diglycerides in Cinnamon Toast Crunch come from?!

Question: Where do the mono- and diglycerides in Cinnamon Toast Crunch come from?
Animal source or vegetable source?

They need to be more specific about what they put in our food. -_-

Answers:

Vegetable source. Cinnamon is a kid of vegetable.

Me.

By the way, cinnamon is a spice. It is not apparent from the box a friend just read to me on the phone, there was no listing of esters, or glycerides. But I know your concern about animal or non animal cource. I will continue to press this tonight and edit my answer if I find out. But really, thus cereal is pure garbage without any esters, so please find something that is not merely candy in a bowl with milk.
