Are dragonfruit poisonous to cats?!

Question: Are dragonfruit poisonous to cats?
I showed my cat a dragonfruit (red-skinned pitaya), and after sniffing it interestedly a few times, he became really hyper, almost as if he had just smelled/eaten catnip. He seems to like it, but I want to know if there is anything poisonous to cats in it. His reaction was certainly an interesting one.

Answers:

Anything containing vitamin C/ascorbic acid is poisonous to cats - there is enough vitamin C in a small orange to kill a cat

Why would you want to feed a cat dragonfruit, I think there's something cat's like called "cat food" lol but seriously, 'm pretty sure Vitamin C is not very good for kitty cats.

All my knowledge is from a galexy far far away!

yes dragonfruit poisonous to cat.
