does vegetarian eat eggs & cheese ?!

Question: Does vegetarian eat eggs & cheese ?
just curious

Answers:

Yes. People who don't eat dairy products are vegans.
Vegetarians (generally) just don't eat meat, but do eat eggs and cheese and anything else made of milk.

There are several levels of vegetarianism. I personally eat dairy and eggs, but no animal meat. Some vegetarians consume just dairy or just eggs. There are others who eat fish as well (I wouldn't really consider them vegetarians, the technical term is pescetarian, but many consider themselves vegetarian if they just eat fish). There are also people who just don't consume red meat or pork (still eat poultry and fish, but they really aren't vegetarian, I don't know what they are). Vegans consume no animal products at all. Hope this helps!

Vegetarian for 12 years

Vegetarians can eat eggs, dairy, and honey, if they want to.

Not all cheeses are vegetarian. If the cheese is made with plant or microbial enzymes, then it is vegetarian. If it's made with animal rennet[enzymes from the stomachs slaughtered calves] then it is not vegetarian.

Horizon makes organic vegetarian cheeses. Some of Boar's Head cheeses are vegetarian. Papa John's and Little Caesar's makes vegetarian pizza.

Kraft cheese has animal rennet. Velveeta cheese has animal rennet. Land O Lakes uses animal rennet in most of their cheeses, and they abuse their cows. Cheese flavored lay's potato chips, Sun chips, and Doritos have animal rennet.

Vegetarian

They can eat eggs, yes and as for cheese...it depends on the cheese. Many vegetarians don't know that there's animal rennet in some cheeses, making it non-vegetarian so just be careful and read labels.

Vegans, on the other hand, cannot eat cheese, dairy, eggs or ANYTHING that comes from animals in any shape or form, including honey (bees.)

Vegan

A true vegetarian does not eat meat. So in your case eggs and cheese are allowed. The odd vegetarian does eat fish and chicken. Check out the website below for more info.

Depends on your opinion.. I'm not a vegan, but I don't eat cheese (not because of health concerns), but I do eat eggs. Vegans don't eat anything from an animal, not milk, eggs, cheese etc.

Vegetarian :D

Depends on what kind of vegetarian.

There are:
lacto-vegetarians (allows dairy which would include cheese)
ovo-vegetarians (allows eggs)
Lacto-ovo vegetarians (egg and dairy are ok)

It depends on the type of vegetarian. Some do, some don't. Vegans are the one who don't eat any dairy products including eggs and cheese. Most vegetarians will eat eggs & cheese :)

Vegetarians are allowed to eat eggs, but need to be careful on the cheese they eat. The important thing is to watch out for animal based rennet.

Yes, most vegetarians do eat eggs and cheese, and they're classified as lacto-ovo vegetarians.

Lacto-ovo vegetarian since birth

Yes, from what I've learned, vegetarians do not eat dead animal meat, but eat everything else.
