New Vegetarian Missing Something?!
I am taking Centrium Vitamins and Fish Oil pills (I know, not very vegetarian, but I felt a little worse when I was trying the Omega-6 suppliments).
I'll be honest, I eat a terrible diet. It's comprised of mostly starches and carbs. So I am looking for suppliments to fill the void.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be lacking that's leading to my abnormal feelings?

If you're eating a lot of starches then that's probably why you're not very healthy. You need fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, grains, ect for a healthy diet.
Try following the vegetarian food pyramid for a good, well-balanced diet: http://www.vegetariannutrition.org/food-…
I'm a new vegetarian, too, and I've had the same problem. I ate a lot of beans and tofus, and usually anything soy bean-based. That was a good substitute for meat for me, but if that's not working out for you, it might be becuase you're lacking sugar. Try glucose-contained food, such as fruits and even glucose pills.

It's probably due to a poor diet. It may be low iron, so I would try eating leafy greens, broccoli, raisins, and peanut butter (not all mixed together, though, cuz that would be kinda gross.) Honestly, I would probably go to the doctor if I were you, and get some blood work done so you know what you are missing. It could be entirely unrelated to diet, and be something else entirely.
do not empty the stomach if you want to diet.
maybe the food you eat surprising your stomach that had been empty directly filled by vegetables. fill your stomach first with soft foods.
Your diet is not balanced and you already admitted it's terrible. Google the vegetarian food pyramid.
Buy a tub of whey protein. I also drink a lot of Naked protein zones since they're delicious.
You need to eat meat.
I guess you're proof that a vegetarian diet is not automatically healthy, huh? It's hard to diagnose what's wrong with you without knowing exactly what and how much you're eating.
You're smart enough to know that supplements are not a substitute for food. They're not meant to replace a well balanced diet.
My first guess is that you're simply not getting enough calories. Compared to animal products, veggies don't contain many calories. Yet because they contain so much cellulose, they tend to make you feel full or bloated. So you don't eat as much. You might start a food diary, track your calories and see exactly how much you're eating. I think you need at least 1200 calories to just stay alive. If you're active or growing quickly, you'll need 2500 or so.
Here's a link to the VeganHealth blog. Dr. Norris has some good info for people giving up meat. Other than his ridiculous claim about B12 being in the soil (???), he's pretty upfront about the nutrients you need to be aware of when you give up meat. Good luck....
