Do vegan people wear recycled leather?!

Question: Do vegan people wear recycled leather?
There is this jacket that I want, but it is made from 100% recycled leather. Would that be considered inhumane as well?

Answers:

If you truly want a vegan lifestyle, you should learn to adopt new behaviours, such as not wearing and promoting the use of any kind of leather.

In my opinion, it is not vegan to buy recycled leather, as it is still part of a dead animal.
Being a vegan involves avoiding buying/using animal products as much as reasonably possible.
(For instance its not reasonably possible to avoid everything, such as vehicle tyres, which have animal products in, but, it is very easy to avoid buying a leather coat).

some would, some wouldn't. Recycling is always a good thing, and it isn't harming animals to use vintage or recycled leather. However, people who see you wearing leather and calling yourself vegan might be confused, and think leather is okay for vegans. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide.

Some people might be vintage or recycled leather, but I think it sends a bad message that leather is okay. People aren't going to know from looking at you that it's recycled, they'll just see you as a hypocrite for wearing leather.

Sometimes living an ethical lifestyle means we make sacrifices.

Yes, would be considered inhumane by most Vegans since it originated from a cow.

I wouldn't buy it. It sends the wrong message to people who know you're vegan.
