do really meat have any harm for peoples?!

Question: Do really meat have any harm for peoples?
(some) vegetarians claim

Answers:

Excessive meat can definitely harm humans.
Meat is filled with so many growth hormones and unnecessary fat. It's been proven that vegans/vegetarians have lower chances of developing many diseases. And vegans tend to live longer than omnivores.

Really meat can have harm for peoples.

Like meat that's pumped full of too many hormones, affecting the natural level in our body. Or meat that's exposed to excrement containing e.coli and not cleaned properly enough before distribution. Or meat that's been feed antibiotics as a staple, enabling bacteria to grow resistant. Or meat that's been feed corn, thus altering the pH balance in it's stomach, allowing salmonella to thrive. Or meat that's been feed it's brethren leading to BSE.

Yup, it can be very harmful if you don't know where your meat is coming from, and what was done to it.

I won't repeat what anyone else said, but I'll make a few corrections: meat that is processed in the way that is now mainstream can contain hormones that are harmful to humans. This is because the animals are fed hormones so they grow faster.

Meat that ate a natural and healthy diet before slaughter is usually healthy for people to eat, although most Americans eat far too much of it. More than one small portion per day is excessive. As they say, nearly everything is good in moderation. Everyone is different - some people are healthiest eating a good amount of red meat and poultry, others are healthiest on a vegetarian or vegan diet.

sure you can get sick from meat. same goes for veggies. these comments are so ignorant it is just plain funny. now you go eat a soggy cabbage and you'll get sick. go eat a rotten steak, you'll get sick. eat fresh meats and veggies. i've been eating meat for a long time and never gotten sick. proof enough.

the fact is people can say it makes you sick, but they don't have any direct evidence.

Yes of course, anyone that says other wise is obviously a meat eater and doesn't know squat.

Yes, sure meat consumption leads to many deadly diseases and it also kills millions of people each year.

eating too much meat you can get sick. this is why doctors tell people to lower their meat consumption when they have high cholesterol and stuff

Not at all! People are omnivorous. That means they can eat just about anything.

"Do really meat have any harm for peoples?" LoL!

what?

No. I know it might be a surprise to some people, but veg*ns tend to be dishonest when they're talking about meat.

Humans have been eating meat ever since we got smart/fast enough to catch it. Scientists say when our prehistoric ancestors started eating meat their stomachs shrunk and their brains grew. Just the brain needs a lot of calories and most veggies are not high in calories.

From the link:

"The brain, although part of the autonomic nervous system, requires two times more energy than the other cells in this system, according to the Franklin Institute. The brain requires nearly ten percent of your body's energy or calorie use. This is helps explain why adequate nutrition is so important to optimal brain function."

Once humans domesticated animals and no longer had to follow the herds around, they were able to build cities, create music and literature, and the other things that make the civilized life you enjoy today.

No. the person who said that hormones and other stuff will hurt you is falsely making claims they cannot support unless they have done scientific research that nobody else in the world has. they did provide some possibilities which may pan out in the future but otherwise the comment should be considered worthless

common sense, logic, functional brain

No, people need the nutrients and protiens from meat to survive. Vegetarians can only subsist by having these nutrients artificially pumped into their food.
