Well since your a vegetarian and not vegan, which means you can eat cheese, and eggs, and honey... I suggest you can make cheese and crackers, if you like the taste of it, you can buy "Almond Butter" and spread that between two slices of toasted bread and munch on some fruit or organic popcorn. Newman-O's has the best organic popcorn you can get it unsalted, or salted whichever you prefer. Also, never forget fruits and veggies! I know most people don't find snacking on fruits and veggies satisfying but in reality, it's satisfying to your body! And you've got to admit, it is yummy! Also if you have a blender try making smoothies with a variety of fruits, anything you'd like! In most grocery stores they have an organic section with tons of vegetarian/vegan snacks such as vegetarian pretzels... ETC. You can also simply buy a variety of nuts such as peanuts, macadamia nuts, cashwes, and almonds, and get some dried fruit such as cranberries and make a trail mix out of them...

The possibilities are endless! Even though you're not that great at cooking (as you mentioned) you can make simple, delicous and easy things that don't require all that much work.

Hope I helped! (I'm still trying to find great and yummy vegetarian snacks for myself) :-]

Think you could do pizza? In the fridge section of the store, there are tubes of pizza dough (near the biscuits). Unroll onto a cookie sheet, top with tomato, cheese & whatever else you like. Bake at 375 for 12-15, or til the entire underside is crisp & everything's melted. Don't wanna use the oven? Make a simple salsa by chopped up a tomato into small pieces, 1/2 a white onion diced small, with a little garlic, a squeeze of lime juice, cilantro/parsely if you like it, & a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like heat. You can also add drained, rinsed black beans to that to keep protein up, & making nachos with that salsa & cheese sounds good. Or do what i do... bake a potato in the oven (or wash a potato & microwave it for 5-6 mins) til tender, split it carefully to avoid steam burns, & cover it with anything you like, including veggie chili, broccoli, sauteed mushrooms, or even that salsa recipe above. Good luck!

Well never eat those fake meat products there all processed and are considered junk except tofu.
Eat whole foods! The whole point being a vegetarian is to be healthier or for animals sake, so eat tons of veggies especially greens!!!
Some simple snacks would be 1/4 cup raw almonds and an apple, celery peanut butter and raisins, veggies and hummus, cheese crackers and some veggies.

Some simple meals would be a large salad(when you eat family dinners always have a fresh salad with the meat course) Then to your salad add some garbonzo beans/nuts/cheese for some protein. (always have cans of low sodium organic beans in the cuboard)
you could also have pasta without the meat sauce
theres lots of easy meals

when you go shopping buy the staples
greens
veggies
apples
beans
eggs
raw almonds

Soyrizo is delicious on tostada's or with eggs. Omnivores don't notice a difference if you don't tell them it's not the rea deal...at least my husband didn't.

Edemame is a delicious snack that even omnivores enjoy.

stir fried vegetables with chick peas *my favorite*

stir fried crumbled up Boca burger patties. (u can add tomatoes)
