It's possible to make ANYTHING out of tofu, that ALSO tastes awesome. Any food is only as good as the chef's cooking skills. I've actually made omelettes, fake meats, etc. out of it. If you want to get technical, I think it's probably hard to make bread out of tofu. You CAN however, make pound cake out of it!! :)

Tofu is a very useful product for keeping diet, I use it for salads,when I keep diet. I don`t say that it is tasty,but it helps me not to feel hungry.
But,yes, you are right,it is possible to make cheese steaks,patties,fake" meat balls" out of tofu,even soups with tofu and vegetables, all depends on the ingenuity of cook. It is possible to make desserts too. But I try not to eat sugar,so I have never done them.
