Is there any one food that has just about every single nutrient in it?!

Question: Is there any one food that has just about every single nutrient in it?
I heard somewhere that it was The Egg, but im not too sure. What other foods have every nutrient almost in it, if not eggs? Thanks :)

Human blood and semen contain trace amounts of every nutrient we need, but I wouldn't suggest basing your diet on either. Breast milk also contains every nutrient the human body needs, but in proportions suitable for infants, not adults. As for actual foods, you'll need to eat a varied diet and drink plenty of water in order to get all of your nutrients.

Eggs are just about perfect:

"Eggs contain all the essential amino acids needed by the human body. Both the yolk and the albumen (the white part) contain the protein, however there is a bit more protein in the white part. Eggs contain all the important vitamins with the exception of vitamin C. They contain all the B vitamins, and are particularly rich in vitamins B12 and B2 (riboflavin), folate, and fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E. Eggs also contain many of the minerals needed by the human body, especially iodine. Iodine is required to make the thyroid hormones. Eggs also contain phosphorus which is required for bone health. They also contain selenium, zinc, and iron."

Avocados, not so much. They certainly do not contain vitamin B12.

"Avocados are a surprisingly complete food, with fourteen minerals to stimulate growth, including iron and copper for your blood. The sodium and potassium in avocados keeps your body chemically balanced, and their low sugar content and absence of starch make them an ideal fruit for diabetics or hypoglycemics (choose small slices throughout the day to keep your sugar balanced). Vitamins in avocados include A, several B-complex, C, and E, as well as phosphorus and magnesium. They’re also a great source of antioxidants like vitamins E and C."

In food, good often comes with bad. For an egg, you have to live with the relatively high cholesterol.

Avocados is a good source of every single vitamin and nutrient the body needs (except for protein), including more Vitamin C than oranges

Chicken and eggs are each a good source of the all essential amino acids for protein.
