What does the ingredient list say? Does it list lard, tallow, or gelatin? Then it's not vegetarian-safe.
The problem is that MANY foods that are supposedly vegetarian-friendly are not. For example: for years McDonalds were claiming that their fries were vegetarian when they were actually cooked in beef tallow.
Check the ingredient list. If in doubt, contact the company.
I had some for desert, following my BLT hamburger. It seemed alright to eat? Delicious!
