Hey, I'm a vegetarian. I stay in India and this place is vegetarian heaven. Its. veg food like you've never known.

Check out this web-site: www.lettuce-eat.info

You'll find some new and unique vegetarian recipes.

There's actually not much lacto-ovo vegetarians have to worry about nutritionally. Generally, animal bi-products can provide a worry free and sustainable diet.

Aside from meat vegetarians should not eat:
Gelatin, which is made from collagen in animal skin and bones and may be found in marshmallows, gummy candies ("Death Candy") and Jell-O.
Gravy, unless it is Mushroom Gravy.
Beef and chicken stock, which may be found in a disturbing amount of "vegetable" soups.
Fish and shellfish
Try not to wear leather or suede.

Those are the main things for the vegetarian. Depending on how strict you plan to be about your diet, you may look at the list of ingredients on Happy Cow's website (www.happycow.net/health-animal-ingredie… This is a list meant for vegans. While the majority of them are up there because they have been derived from animal bi-products like milk, some-- such as
caraminic acid (Natural Red Dye 4)-- involve the death of animals and are just generally gross (caraminc acid is ground beetles). Hope that helps.

Thats good. I'm a vegetarian and it's AMAZING. You can eat alot of stuff actually. Just watch all the literal MEAT things like chicken and fish and cow, pig, lamb, things like that. I like tofu, and it's waaay better then people say it is. You can try it all different ways! Theres also alot of sites that you can go to if you type in something ilke, "Vegetarian food list" on google or something. I hope this helped you(:

The list if very long. The first thing you need to remember is that your body still needs protein and energy to work, therefore, you need to substitute the proteins and the energy for something else. For example, Tofu is a great substitute and so are nuts and beans. You can obviously need all the vegetables you want as well.
