Vegetarians: would you date a meat eater?!

No.
Just my personal preference..
I'm vegan and I've only ever dated meat eaters. In fact, I don't know any other vegans (other than my mom and sister) at all! While it's occasionally frustrating that this person you care about doesn't feel the same way about something that's incredibly important to you, it's really just something you have to deal with. No two people in a relationship are exactly alike. It's all about making allowances for that person because they're worth it. In the back of my mind though I hope they'll see the light! Every guy I've dated has also been religious and I'm atheist... And that's something they've had to accept about me even though they don't like it. However, if I ever met a vegan boy, I have to say I would be a little (a lot) excited.
Of course. And I think that many of the people who say they only date vegans, would change their minds if they met a charming meat-eater. (Really girls? A Brad Pitt look-alike who's funny, smart, kind, and has the occasional steak? And wants to date you? That would be hard to turn down...)
I think it comes back to the type of person you want to date anyway-- you want someone who respects you in general (and so of course that includes respecting your food choices). So basically, if a meat-eating guy (or gal) is a jerk about you being a vegetarian, they probably aren't that desirable as a mate anyways.

Yep have been for 7 years a d just had a baby. I believe in tolerance. Also he agreed to raised baby as veg and last week after maintaining for years that if at 2 the baby wanted to eat meat like daddy that would be fine that........ Of course (his idea I swear) we would visit a petting zoo first and show her a lamb and chicken etc and let her eat meat only once she knew where it cane from. Am so proud of him!
18 years vegetarian
Yes, but I prefer a vegetarian, vegan, or pescetarian over someone who eats all kinds of meat.
Many people who eat meat assume there's something wrong with you for being a vegetarian, or they laugh or try to convince you to eat meat, so there's a big chance it wouldn't work out.
Vegetarian
I eat meat and I'd go out with a vegetarian or vegan. If I was a veggie or vegan I personally would still go out with a meat eater, a lot of men eat meat! It's hard to find veggie and vegan men! Are people really separating people based on how they eat now??? I can't believe some people would be so intolerant as to not give a nice guy a chance just cause they choose to eat meat. They might even only eat free range meat for all they know yet would still not give them a chance!
I actually had it the other way around. I was an omni and my boyfriend was a vegetarian. I am super glad he dated me because I love him SO much! Eventually I went vegan after seeing www.meat.org. He went vegan too. But then I started being a reg. veg. and he remained a vegan.
Seeing im a vegan and Animal Rights supporter, no i wouldnt date a meat eater, it would cause too many problems, and it wouldnt work out. I would rather date someone that has the same beliefs as i do.
Yes I would if he was hot, funney, nice to talk to,caring and understanding and understood and respected my choice than I really wouldn't care.
OMG! It's Christmas eve!
Merry Christmas!!

yeaah i havent got a problem with others eating meat, at the moment i still live at home and my dad and brother are real big meat eaters they eat it all the time and my mum eats meat but it dont bother me
Sure. I don't think people should judge others. If they want to live a certain way, then fine. But thats them. I'm not real fond of intolerant vegetarians. Come to think of it, intolerant anything.
Yes I would date a meat eater. Being a vegetarian is my belief and I wouldn't push it on anyone.
