Do you or do you not want Santa to give you coal? If you tell her that's surely what you'll get because you'll just ruin her christmas. But if you or she is Jewish then go ahead and tell her, Hanukkah is over anyhow.
Her digestive system may not be used to the meat depending on how long she has been veg so she may vomit. I advise you to stay as far away from her as you can for as long as you can.
I'm just going to assume that she is a new member of the veggie munchers club since everyone knows that chocolate chip cookies are a BIG vegetarian no-no. Make sure she knows not to eat tomatoes either, they're actually fruits and we wouldn't want her to be seen as a traitor now, would we?
Maybe she only ate the chocolate chip cookies because she was really desperate and didn't know what she could and could not eat. If this is the case, tell her gummy bears and Cesar salad are acceptable.

I depends what type of vegitarian they are, if she was vegan she would not allow herself to eat animal byproducts or animals in general. Chocolate contains milk which is a bi-product of cows, but an animal hasen't been killed to make the cookie/choclate chips, as far as the batter, eggs not be in it. BUT she may just be a vegitarian that avoids meats ask her!!

Chocolate chips aren't made out of pigs, to my knowledge. In fact, I have never in my life found a non-vegetarian chocolate chip. There are non-vegan ones, but most are vegetarian. Typical chocolate chips contain cocoa solids, some sort of fat (the best ones use cocoa butter, others might use palm oil), sugar, soy lecithin, and/or milk solids. None of that comes from pig.
Someone was pulling your leg when they told you that chocolate is made out of pig. Try reading an ingredients label sometime to see for yourself.
Last time I checked there was no meat in Chocolate chip cookies. Meat is the flesh of an animal. Look at this recipe below for Chocolate chip cookies. I assure you none of the ingredients are meat.

Chocolate is usually made of cocoa powder, cocoa butter, sugar, milk/milk powder, occasional soy products, and normally a few preservatives. As long as the preservatives or fats are not derived from slaughter bi-products, then they're fine.
The main concern with cookies would be the shortening, not the chocolate. Though I've never seen a cookie made from lard. =/

Edited to add. Amanda I know what you are trying to say. Some chocolate chips have lard [pig fat] in them by way of processing. Not all have it in some are processed a different way. They both are chocolate chips but they all have different ingredients except for the cocoa which is what makes it chocolate. So you are right but so are we. If your friend ate Vegetarian ones she's fine.

I don't know what ingredient in chocolate chip cookies is forbidden to vegetarians. They do contain eggs and the chips contain some milk, but most vegetarians are lacto-ovo vegetarians. That means they eat milk (lacto) and eggs (ovo). But there's no meat in chocolate chips (at least the recipe I use). So I don't think you caught your friend cheating.
ok, if chocolote chips are MADE-OUT of pig, she can still have it cuz she's only vegetarian. if it were an actual a slice of bacon or something on the cookie.... now that would be wrong. she can eat chocolate chip if she's vegetarian, not if she's vegan. not just cuz of the chips but just the sugar... what do you think sugar is made out of?

What exactly is non vegetarian about a chocolate chip? Is your friend a vegan and was the chocolate chip a milk chocolate chip? chocolate chips are not made out of meat and there are so many different versions of vegetarianism that even if they were she could make an allowance for herself.
Chocolate chips are made with milk, not pigs. While mot chocolate is unsuitable for a vegan diet, a lacto- or lacto-ovo vegetarian can eat it without a problem.
