How can I gain this much in one day?!

Question: How can I gain this much in one day?
Yesterday, I was in a bad mood and ate: One sweet potato, like 5 bowls of Fiber One cereal, one bowl of rice crispies, one bowl of kashi go lean cereal, a Clif kids Z bar, half of a Lara Bar, one whole wheat Bagel thin, half a block of stir fried tofu, two handfuls of pretzels, and one pepsi. I stepped on the scale this morning, (after going to the bathroom), naked, and went from 106.6 pounds yesterday morning, to 109.2 pounds this morning. Oh my gosh! Will this go away, or am I cursed with this forever?

I am vegan

its just fluctuation. you'd have to have consumed somewhere around 10,500 calories to gain that much weight, and I highly doubt you did that. it will go away.

That's actually very normal, for anyone to have weight fluctuate like that. Weight is supposed to move around within 1-5 pounds, throughout the day as well as the week. At an average weight of 93, I saw my weight fluctuate from 91 to 98 pounds. My appearance has never changed for anyone to notice.

Depending on the time of day and what all you have in your body (waste, food, bloating, etc...) you will see your weight change like that. In the morning, you could be 105 lbs. Later in the day, you could be 109 pounds. It's just the way our bodies work.

Can you say, STUFF IN YOUR COLON???
When you poop, you'll lose the weight. It's "water/waste" weight. All the stuff in your colon is full of fiber and water, so it will weigh alot. The colon removes the water, keeping you hydrated. The waste goes away (eventually), and that weight is lost too. However, you are heavier when your colon is full.

So what was the sodium count? Remember when you eat a lot of salt, it makes you retain water. If you go back to your normal amount of salt, you will lose it. Sean my Doc decided I was retaining water. I got stuck with a water pill. Lost 20 pounds in two days. yeah, I was retaining water. I hate it when Sean's right.

It's probably the weight of the food and the water in it. It'll come off in a few days at most. Just as long as you don't eat that way everyday, you won't permanently gain.

You'll eventually sh.t it all out. Some food can stay in your system for up to 24 hours. rofl. Of course it all depends on your metabolism, too.

I'm sure when it goes through your system it will lower your weight. It's not uncommon to fluctuate a few lbs.

Have you already sit in the throne? I would wait until then. You are carrying a big load.

Rofl.

My weight fluctuates that much in an hour or two.

forever and ever..............
go on....nothing is forever.
but for being a vegan you're noit doing that well, are you?
