Red bloody meat.

Since you are vegan, the first thing is to make sure to be getting the nessecary vitamins needed, especially protein and calcium. For protein, eat soy and beans. For carbs and other nutrients, eat a vegan bread. For veggies, well, eat lots of them, but make sure to always eat your protein or you will grow irritable and your body will function improperly. Fruit, fruit is also very good. So, really, anything except for animal bi products. Vitamins, vitamins, and minerals!

Lots and lots of green leafy veggies. And lots and lots of supplements because you probably aren't going to be able to eat enough of those leafy green veggies every day to get all the non-heme iron, calcium, amino acids for protein, that you will need to stay healthy.

For sure you need a vitamin B12 supplement. It is not available in any plant source. You can get shots, pills or eat highly processed foods "fortified" with B12. Here's a link to a vegan dietitian with info on your best chances to be healthy on a vegan diet: http://www.veganhealth.org/

A variety of any fresh fruits and vegies, nuts and wholegrains. Plus you'll need long chain omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin B12 supplements produced from algae. You don't need to supplement B12 if you eat lots of nori rolls (aka sushi), and you don't need to worry about it at all until you have been vegan for a few years after which the levels in your blood become diminished.

All the green leafy veggies, tubers like potatoes and most importantly pulses. Since vegan's do not have any animal products, pulses are one of the main sources of proteins. All this may seem bland, but cooked right, vegetarian food is delicious.
