I'm becoming vegan starting Jan.1st? Help/tips?!

Question: I'm becoming vegan starting Jan.1st? Help/tips?
Okay, so I've decided that beginning in the new year I am going to become vegan. I have tons of veggies, fruits, nuts, and other vegan food items. I have a multivitamin. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me? Any tips on saying no to meat and other things? I know this way of eating is extremely healthy. Please give me any information/advice you have. Good vegan foods? Favorites?

Thank you. :)

Vegan Cake recipe:
Get a box of DUNCAN HINE'S chocolate, strawberry, orange, or lemon cake mix(your choice).
Get a can or bottle of diet coke for a chocolate cake, diet cherry coke for a strawberry cake, diet sunkist for an orange cake, or diet 7up for a lemon cake.
Add 10 oz of the diet soda to the cake mix and stir the ingredients.
Grease up the pan with vegan butter or margarine or a vegan non-stick spray.
Put it in the oven.
Once it's done, let it cool down for an hour and enjoy.

Hey, I'm a vegetarian. I stay in India and this place is vegetarian heaven. It's great that you wish to become vegetarian too, it has so many benefits. It serves as an excellent lifestyle, it helps maintain weight, gives you great skin and hair, makes you more calmer and purifies your body. All this apart from the fact that you'll be helping the environment. I know there is a common mis-conception that vegetarian food is bland and tasteless, but that is not true. If cooked in the right way, you can please your senses and open up hitherto unknown culinary pleasures. Make sure you know the right recipes.
