At what point in being a vegetarian does your body simply reject meat?!
Answers:
I've heard about 10 years or so, but I could be wrong. I just wouldn't risk it haha, definitely consult a doctor if you want to eat meat again. I think, basically, it just greatly, greatly depends on the individual.
Also, congrats on being veggie! Good for you :D <3
veggie for 5 years, and for the rest of my life for sure!
I've been a vegetarian for 2 years, and the thought of meat grosses me out. Mind over matter? I don't know. I don't think your body rejects the meat, I think it's the person. It just doesn't make sense to me, Haha. :]
Its depends on your metabolism. So can't say exactly.
I'm not so sure, i think at least a month, probbly 6 months or a a year?
My first answer is at no point this ever happens, but I've heard of a couple cases (only 2) where it caused death in long time vegetarians. I'm talking about decades being that way and then one day they have meat. One example is a friend of a friend who had a bit of fish. The other example is Buddha who had a pork chop and yoghurt and then died.
So my answer is decades of being a strict vegan; not necessarily a vegetarian because as a lacto ovo or lacto you are still consuming animal product.
Vegan for 8 mos., vegetarian for 2 yrs prior.
