New vegetarian helps please :)?!


Question: New vegetarian helps please :)?
1/2 cup of oatmeal with dried fruit and a handful of chopped peanuts and an apple and vegetable juice

Sweet potato fries
A carrot
2 slices of veggie pizza
Cantaloupe, Pineapple, and Kiwi fruit, fruit salad.

Veggie patty
Salad - lettuce, cucumber, carrot.
Spinach, tomato, and zucchini cooked.

And lots of water throughout the day and I am going to take vitamin C after I have finished dinner. Is all this okay and enough to get for the day? I have only been vegetarian for 3 weeks now and am planning to see a doctor soon to get blood tests etc.

Yeah it's fine. Just remember, you don't have to plan out your meals every day. Find healthy fruits and vegetables, and and stuff like that. Eat until you are full and don't over stuff yourself just to get vitamins and stuff. You should also take iron supplements, other vitamin supplements (other than C) and other stuff. Iron is provided a lot by meat, and if you don't get enough iron, you'll probably become anemic, like I did :( But now I am taking supplements and I'm fine. You seem to be a healthy veg eater... Other that the pizza. LOL I'm kidding pizza is fine. Good things going to the doctor and making sure you are healthy. And lastly, I congratulate you on becoming vegetarian! I did five years ago and my life is so much better! Lol. Welcome to the club. ;)
