Vegans..i want to become a vegan?!

Question: Vegans..i want to become a vegan?
but i like eating Meat but i do feel sorry for the animal so is there a way i can become a honorary vegan without completely changing my diet.?

Answers:

A vegan is someone who doesn't buy or consume meat of any kind or foods containing it.
Vegans don't buy or consume dairy, eggs, honey, or foods containing them.
They don't buy or wear fur, leather, wool, silk, or clothing trimmed in them.
They don't buy or use consumer products from companies whose distributors conduct animal toxicity tests,
and they don't frequent zoos, circuses, rodeos, aquariums, or other venues where animals are held in captivity or forced to perform for profit.

In short,
VEGANISM IS AN ENTIRE LIFESTYLE.
If you're not even willing to change your DIET (and only ONE part of it)
you're not even VEGETARIAN.

A vegan. A real one.

Well, you may call yourself a "Vegan", when you do not eat meat, fish, poultry, eggs, honey nor dairy products.

Strict Vegans take it a step further. They avoid fur, leather, wool, down and other products made from animals. Cosmetics or chemical products that have been tested on animals are also being avoided. They want to avoid any connection with animal sufferings.

But "Yes", become a honorary vegan, everything thing starts with a first step. So step by step reduce eating meat and dairy products, and you can say you are on the "road" on becoming a "Vegan"!

i'll tell you this, i am a vegan it took me a while but the temptation to eat meat wore off. Remember you have to try to be a vegan and convince yourself that you want to be one. assure yourself you are willing to do it. You don't have to do it right away ok? Start eating your daily regular foods but after a while start to reduce the amount of meat products and then when you think you're ready quit it all at once. Don't feel too bad taking a quick snack on meat once in a while but it will soon wear off.
Trust me i've been 1 for 4 years
Hope this helps, Nelson Nguyen.

my own experience and way of living

If we were not meant to eat meat...we would not have the digestive track that we do.

We can eat raw meat if we wish...it's not reccommended but we're able too..

On the feeling sorry part; Lions kill and eat lots of animals; it's just the natural food chain. Im sure a lion would not feel sorry if it killed and ate you.

The point of being a vegan is to just live off what nature gives you. So meat and dairy products are a no-no. Try being a vegan for a week and see how it goes after one week whether you can live like a vegan or not.

You can call yourself whatever you wish.
