What is your favorite vegetarian food?!
Answers:
I really like pizza too! I also like tofurkey sandwiches with lots of vegetables and mustard :)
Soy milk.
Pizza that is made with dairy isn't a vegetarian food, regardless. A child no longer needs any milk, especially not from a cow, for nourishment. Genetic differences often have medical significance. Lactose intolerance is the most common "food allergy." But to call it an allergy is to take a white-centric view that trivializes the fact that most of the world's people (an estimated 75% globally) are not biologically designed to digest milk. The exceptions are northern and some central Europeans, several people from Africa (Fulani and Tussi tribes) and some people from India. The remainder of the world's population has difficulty digesting lactose. Yes, apparently in the island U.S., bashing the holy Grail of milk and its imaginary health benefits is like bashing professional baseball or the American flag. Milk does no body good, but for the vast majority of the world's people it is a public health disaster. And just because it is mainly whites who drink milk, does not mean there are no ill health effects of drinking milk. milk is one the main contributors to heart disease, osteoporosis, mucus formation in throat, iron deficiency, worsening of acne, Celiac disease, maldigestion, leading to malabsorption and malnutrition, etc.
mucus formation and high caloric and fat content.
If you're looking for healthier options try stir fry. You can put almost any vegetable you like in, along with tofu or Quorn (if you don't know what this is, look it up, I love it!) Cooke vegetables in a pan with a little oil and soy sauce, garlic, onions, whatever you like.
If you like peanut sauce, here's my recipe:
Peanut butter
water
soy sauce
garlic powder
lemon juice
enjoy!
