Question: How many days of juice/water fasting can I go before I expect to lose muscle mass?
Answers:

No offense but you may die of no sleep and boredom before your body starts to burn its own muscle.

You MAY faint or feel really ill before that happens and it cannot last. However if you are doing an experiment, it may take a few weeks or days depending on how much body fat you have.

You'll lose muscle mass if you don't move around- the muscles will start to atrophy ( they aren't being used so they will shrink and go soft), and the fat will be used for body functions.



it takes about a week. be careful though. I tried recently to jump start a diet. take vitamins and buy some beneprotein. You can mix with water and its tasteless. your body still requires certain things.
