Question:

Do I have to eat meat?

Answers:
yes you have to

No.

totally

No, you should eat tofu and beans for necessary proteins and nourishment.

nope vegies and beans will do just fine

No.... It would be smart to include meats as a part of a balanced diet but there is no requirement to be smart....

No but you do need to eat things that have proteins and iron I rarely eat meet and I am totally Savoy on what I need due to life changing operations such as heart bypasses and kidney problems.

no you do not you can eat dried beans for protien and there other thing you can substitute for meat just go to the local health food store for a lot of tips on this.

No.

But it is good for you.

All the people that I know who are vegetarians have low levels of mental or physical energy.

If you never ate meat before, try eating smoked salmon, or other smoked fish. Then you can move on to the succulent stakes and grilled chicken and so on.

Other benefits of eating meat:

* You will not have limited choices when you want to dine out.
* It is easier for people who hang out with if eat meat.

If you eat mostly white meat(fish and chicken,) it can be even healthier than being vegetarian.

With regard to not killing animals and what not, all I can say that I enjoy my place on top of the food chain.

NO, nor any other animal products.

yuy if u want

Most definitely not. There has been so much research showing that eliminating meat from your diet will reduce your risk of several types of cancer. Get your protein from beans and nuts and eat plenty of veggies. You don't HAVE to do anything, its a free country :)

no

no cause youre a vetetarian

No. You can get EVERYTHING you need from a veggie or vegan diet!

no of course not its totally up to you. im 19 and i havn't eaten meat since i was around 5 or 6 years old and im ok xxxx

Well you could eat meat if you choose to but there are many replacements for the nutrients protien and taste. Some products I would reccomend would be Morningstar Farms or Boca. But if you want something a little more nourishing the Amy brand is delicous especially the lasagna and enchiladas!!!

NO!!!! I am so sick of this bull ****. You don't need meat or ANY OTHER ANIMAL PRODUCTS! People are so full of ****! Why don't you idiots at least try to educate yourselves a little bit? Hmm? Everything we need, and I mean absolutely EVERYTHING, can be obtained from NON-ANIMAL SOURCES! Read and do a little research instead of believing what our retarded societies and governments tell you.

actually you do....meat have such nutrients that vegetables dont.........beef has some nutrients that none other vegies have......so you should eat every meat and vegies and fruits if you want an healthy diet which is also balanced coz withouth meat its not balance

it depends what you are if you are a lion or a cat i would recommend it.

No. People appear to stay alive with or without it. Just use common sense and moderation, regardless of your choice. If you decide to vegan, just don't respond to things like the third comment above this one. It doesn't accomplish anything.

There is no reason to eat meat. I have been a vegetarian and a vegan for almost 20 years, and the health benefits alone should convince you to stop eating meat. Beef stays in your colon for 2 weeks before passing thru the body. Milk stays in your stomach for an hour before being digested. Our teeth are not designed to eat meat. They resemble cows teeth, not dogs or cats. If you take away all of our tools, there would be no way we could catch animals for food, much less out run any. We don't have the claws, teeth, speed or intestines to catch, tear open and digest the raw meat. Also, meat has no nutritional value. Only protein. Look on the meat label for all the vitamins and minerals you get from hamburger, chicken, turkey etc. and you won't be able to find any. Dead muscle is bad for you and no one should be told that there weird for wanting to be healthy.

no, ick! I dont Its gross!!
