Is This A Good Vitamin?!

Question:

Is This A Good Vitamin?

I'm 15 and I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for about a year. I'm looking for a good supplement for extra safety. I've taken GNC Ultra Mega Multivitamin, but it doesn't seem to do any good. I've been thinking of switching to a produce called Vitamin World Rose Hips Vegetarian Capsules, as the explanation of their product seemed to catch my eye a little more than the GNC product did. Do you think the vitamin from Vitamin World work better than the multivitamin from GNC?

This is the Vitamin World site link: http://www.vitaminworld.com/pages/file.a...

And the GNC site link: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?pro...

Answers:
You should talk to a pharmacist or you doctor about what you can take to suppliment the protein an diron you need as well as calcium and other vitamins you will be missing.
Just buying a vitamine that looks good on the box or based on what the guy at GNC tells you is not a good idea especcially if you are young and just becoming vegitarian.

I do. But it varies from person to person.

First off I'd say to see my answer to the veggie vitamin question that Stephanie asked just before you as the same info applies. Judoka you a good answer but I (mainly) wanted to add that Rose hips alone aren't a balanced vitamin. Any health food store will have veggie friendly multi-vitamins if you really need one. The only real way to know if you are deficient is to have a doctor run a series of tests (not expensive) to see what if anything you lack.

I think the best vitamins out there are manufactured by Melaleuca. They have a special patent, come with a 90 guarantee, and are cheaper the GNC. You really can't top what these vitamins have to offer. The best price you can get is when you are a preferred customer, for which you have to be 18, though. Maybe your parents could get them for you. If you want more information email me at bwat_66@yahoo.com or you can request information from
