Do you eat wild mushrooms?
It could be a toadstool and kill you! Dead.
Answers:
With some practice, it is easy to tell the difference between a familiar and unfamiliar mushroom.
I hate mushrooms.unless it comes from a can or something.

No, but I have done. Only a few can actually make you ill (or dead).

I've at wild mushrooms. Some people are able to tell which are safe and which aren't!
That's pretty much why I avoid them!
i eat morels. chicken of the woods, hamburger mushrooms. you can do a simple spore test and educate yourself if you really want to. type morels and search. lots of info on the web. and ummmummm umm good eats
No Never DOnt you'll get sick.
Only eat wild mushrooms if you know what you are doing. They may not kill you but you 'll be doubled up in pain and on the lav for a week.
I strongly recommend not eating wild mushrooms you pick yourself. There are many varieties of both edible and psychoactive mushrooms which have poisonous look-alikes.Identifying wild mushrooms is a complex process. so I say NO.
No. I don't eat mushrooms.
YUCKY!!! if they arent clean dont eat them..even tehy are dont take the chance
I luv mushrooms!!! I've never eaten anything that wasn't from a store or a pizzeria, though.
No, but I've eaten a few crazy ones.
I used to. Back home, my family and I used to go to mountains to pick mushrooms to eat, looking at books that tell you which one you can eat and which one you can't. But we only picked the ones that we knew we could eat. We left ones we weren't sure about, since we didn't want to die. No-body's dead yet, by the way.
Unless you are an expert on mushrooms, it is not recommended. There are many mushrooms that look very similar to edible ones, that are poisonous and can kill you!
Even touching some of them, requires you wash your hands before touching any food.
no but i do eat one type of mushroom but not a wild one because most of them are dangerous.
Well, my family have always eaten wild mushrooms. With the aid of a good fungi identification book it is simple. Field mushrooms are white with flesh colour gills, horse mushrooms are white with a distinct aniseed smell and a cogwheel pattern beneath the cap. They are easily recognisable, but if in any doubt i.e. pale gills or yellow stains then leave well alone. Some mushrooms, like morels, are unmistakable.Always check - but after a while you'll easily recognise the edible kinds.
Toadstools don't kill, might make you sick or taste unpleasant - you're thinking of mushroms in the Amanita family like the Death Cap or Destroying Angel.
no they could be poisonous
The best way to tell with mushrooms is to leave them on a piece of paper for a day or two. If they stain yellow, brown or orange they are poisonous. If they stain blue they are hallucinogenic. If they don't stain at all they are likely safe. Funguses growing on trees are usually safe.
Still I caution you against eating wild mushrooms unless you really know what you doing. I have been studying and eating wild plants for years and I still never eat wild mushrooms.
no way jose!
This is just something I don't understand about vegans. They say they are so pure and they do not eat meat. Yet, they eat mushrooms and get high. Doing drugs is wrong. I may not be a vegan, but atleast I don't do drugs like vegans do.
Have done before and thought I was Superman!!!
I LOVE MUSHROOMS BUT ONLY FROM REPUTABLE STORES
yeah but if you know what it is its gonna be magic
I would if I could find them, I LOVE morels
I gather and eat morels in springtime. There's no danger because there are no other mushrooms growing here at that time that look like morels.
Hell yes, the best ones are psilocybe, they taste great and you get the added bonus of tripping your head off.
I eat wild mushrooms regularly - not getting wild so far ...
NO. I get mine from the store...where I know they're actually mushrooms.
