If you go this way, make sure you read up on it. If you are an ovo-lacto vegetarian, it won't be too hard. You'll still be able to have cheese pizza and eggs. Do you like beans? How about lentils?
Should be interesting. Your mother is probably just waiting to see how serious you are.
I became a vegetarian in 5th grade and my mom supported me, tell her all the reasons you want to become one. If she is worried about protein consumption show her the protein in Bocca, or Morning Star farms foods. I have been a vegetarian now for almost 4 years and I am not anorexic, tell her it is all good.
I wish the best for you.
no she's just wondering what the hell she's gonna feed ya or what your going to eat from now on....
Just make sure she knows you're going vegetarian and not a person that eats nothing. My mom worries similarly to that <--
My first reaction was: yes.
However, I don't know your mom (at least, I don't think I do!), and can't say for sure.
It's a lot for her to process and may be just thinking about how to answer.
If your family is anything like mine was when I was young, be ready for lots of negative reactions!
