Any good lunch ideas?
I am home sick and I am tired of eating soup, I don't have too much other than pizza hotpockets which i am also tired of. I can make a smoothie maybe. What tastes good in a smoothie? Any thing good on tv?

I'm partial to peanut-butter and banana sandwiches on whole wheat, with some blue corn-chips and a diet Coke.
milk, icecream, some tpe of fruit, in a blender
strawberry smoothie. ^^
Try putting this in a Blender:
1 carton of plain or Banana flavored Yogurt (6 oz.)
1 Banana
2-3 Ice Cubes
Splash of Milk
3 heaping tablespoons of nesquick, ovaltine, or some other chocolate milk drink mix.
Blend until smooth. Enjoy!!!
OR
1 Carton of Plain or Apple flavored Yogurt (6-8 oz.)
1 Thing of apple sauce (6-10 oz.)
2-3 ice cubes
Splash of Milk
Blend until smooth. Sprinkle lots of Cinnamon on top. Enjoy!!
If you're into quick meals - Hamburger Helper; Chili over rice; Tuna Melt; Hot Dogs & Baked Beans; A healthy TV Dinner. You know Thanksgiving is coming up so try to eat light, stay fit that way when Thanksgiving gets here, you can kind of pig out! Good Idea? I think so! Eat Hardy!
If you have sorbet, sherbet or ice cream, put about 3 scoops in the blender w/ whatever fruit you have. Literally, almost any fruit tastes good when you've blended it w/ ice cream.
If mixture is a bit too thick, you can thin it by adding either some milk or some apple juice.

My favourites are french bread pizzas which are pretty easy to cook.
Strawberry banana smoothies are my favorite. Toast? Any veggies in the fridge? Something in the freezer?
Toasted cheese sandwich. You can just toast the bread in the toaster put, margine and cheese and mirco wave for 40 seconds
Indian rice with fried vegetables.
I don't know what is on TV. I usually watch movies when I am home. Hope you feel better soon .....

The best smoothie ever includes 3 cups of milk, 2 cups of chopped strawberries, two whole bananas, 1 cup of ice cream or ice chunks. Add into blender and mix well. This is guaranteed delicious for those groggy days when you're feeling ill.
Smoothie: mangos, peaches strawberries, bananas and ice or fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt.
Lunch: Salad: Fresh spinish, red cabbage, red onions, carrots, crushed boiled eggs, w/ fat-free italian dressing mmmm so good. and put some grilled cajun chicken on top.
Tomato soup and gilled cheeze sandwiches
I make smoothies with coconut milk and cranberry juice! or sometimes apple or blueberry! Sometimes I use coconut cream but that's more costly than coconut milk!

I like the tomato soup and grilled cheese idea, but since you are tired of soup, a smoothie would be a great way to help you rejuvenate. Any fresh or frozen berries, banana, vanilla yogurt and soy milk makes a great smoothie. Just experiment.

My fav smoothie:
1 small banana
8 oz. vanilla fat free yogurt (Organic Stoneyfield is best)
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1 scoop Genisoy Vanilla Soy milkshake mix
2 ice cubes
Splash of OJ or Cranberry juice (not much)
Blend and enjoy!
i use vanilla yogart as the base and start adding in fresh fruit and juices. what ever is in season or that i have on hand.
