I feel my skin has become brighter and clearer, especially after I finally got rid of dairy.
At first it got worse, but I think that was just my body "de-toxing," that whole experiance was gross, but at least I did some reading before hand, and was warned!
Diet does play a role in skin conditions, as does genetics, stress, and all sorts of other factors.
yeah. it did clear up. however, i have noticed a very slight green tint in my skin. i am not joking.
drinking plenty water and not using harsh chemicals to your face keep your face clear dont bust bumps in your face not only do they leave ugly dark marks but they spead a pimple is only a mass of infection that risesses up and get infected. when having a pimple just place a hot towel or (get this ) tooth paste will get rid of it it is not caused by charcolet but greasy foods and not enough water will mess up your skin some fruits and veggies will to too much acid in the blood will make pimples stay away from so many colas
i've been a vegetarian for about 3 years and i never had any horrible skin problems in that time. before i would get a little blemishes but thats pretty much it.
my boyfriend, my best friend and I are all vegetarians, and our skin looks the same as it did before we went veg.He still gets alot of zits, our friend's skin is still perfectly clear, and I'm still somewhere in the middle. We've been vegetarians for 1, 6, 5 years respectively. So I would be inclined to say vegetarianism has no effect on acne.
If you have troubled skin its just troubled. No amount of veggies will help.
i was diagnosed with high cholesterol so was put on a vegetarian diet and i also have watch the amount of dairy i have (not a lot of cheese, only fat free milk, no eggs) and the biggest compliment i have gotten since i've started this diet in july is "your skin looks great" i never had any acne or face problems but something has obviously changed in my skin. when i ask how its changed people just say "i dont' know it looks more fresh and healthy and glowing" i also drink about 5 gallons of water a week. so i do think it affects your skin but everyone is different. hope that helps!
No, I became a vegetarian at 16 and never had adolescent acne either before or after the switch. I did start getting acne at about 21; I attribute the clear up to really learning how to take care of my skin instead of punishing it. The only dietary factor that I believe makes a difference for me personally is how much water I drink.
yes,i would say it is the dairy though, not the meat.My cousins are lactose intolerant and has really clear skin.I know others also who are lactose intolerant and have good skin.I also drink alot of water though.About a gallon a day.
Yep, my skin cleared up and I lost about 15 lbs. However, I attribute a lot of this to making a drastic reduction of iodized salt from my diet. Once the salt was gone, my skin was a lot smoother and paler.
Hello, My skin has been quite clear since becoming a vegetarian. I get the odd zit once in a blue moon!!! I have been veggie for 12 years!
Yes vegetarian diet made my skin nice.
