Hi! Unfortunately, vegetarians seem to get low on iron and protein. The other vitramins you will most likely get through your regular diet, especially if you eat lots of vegetebles and fruit (believe it or not, not all "vegetarians" eat a good amount of veggies and fruits). I hv a vegetarian friend whom everytime I see him he is eating veggie burgers, chips, chocolate, etc. His diet is the worst!!!! But yet, he thinks he's healthy bcuz he's "vegetarian". So just make sure you are eating your fair share of veggies, and the more raw the veggies the better. Salads, steames veggies, etc are the best. Canned veggies and fruits hv little value. Take a multi-vitamin if need be, and make sure you are getting a good amount protein and iron in your diet! Good luck! -Janet
First of all your not a vegetarian if you eat seafood, please quit using this word improperly. (go ahead and report me if you would like, but it doesn't change the fact it's true).
To answer your question: You need the same vitamins that anyone else needs. If you are asking whether you need supplements, if you are eating a balanced varied diet, in a word, no.

People with the blood disorder pernicious anemia do not produce sufficient intrinsic factor and must take high doses of vitamin B12 to maintain their health. Others at risk for B12 deficiency include vegetarians who follow a strict vegan or macrobiotic diet.
