Answers:
Here is a list put out by PETA of foods you probably eat every day that just happen to be vegan: http://www.peta.org/accidentallyvegan/...

Here is the vegan food pyramid: http://www.gettinglean.com/veganpyramid....

Learn it. Live it. Love it.

Just check the ingredients of things you normally eat. If there are any meat products in it. Don't eat it. If you see any ingredients of eggs, egg whites, whey, milk, casein, etc. Don't eat it. After you go shopping a few times you get used to the same products and it goes by much easier. My first shopping experience as a vegan took 3 hours. And I still had to return several products.

Don't trust all items at a whole food store to be vegan either. I bought some nutritional yeast from a local mom/pop shop and it had whey in it. Also a lot of soy cheese has casein in it which comes from milk. Look for a logo that says "Vegan" as quite a few products have that on them.

Might I suggest you run over to the veggie board forums and register/post an intro. There is a LOT of help there for you. :)

Good luck!

Go to your local natural grocery store, they'll have lots of good stuff. I've been semi-vegetarian since my husband was deployed and eat a lot of soy products. (They're pretty tasty.) Make sure you are taking a vegan multi-vitamin to pick up any thing you aren't getting in your diet.

A local co-op or health food store can help you out. Use soy products such as tofu or soy "meat" to replace the meat in recipes. (always check ingredients to make sure things are vegan) Also, beans, lentils, and other legumes are great sources of protein as well. I highly recommend the book; Becoming Vegan by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina, also there are tons of great cookbooks out there! Good luck and happy eating!

Turnips, tofu and taro root. And that's just under the letter T. :-)

you can make an very good salate out of an salat bunch with some onion ad oil + some salt, olives, paprika, tomato and all together +light,happy,easy,vegetarian,m...

if u live in the uk then try sanisburys very own eg bread in the green and blue bag

Do you mean processed foods? Cus off the top of my head I can think of gazillion vegan un-processed foods!

Some processed foods in Australia:-
- Soy milk
- Vegemite
- Peanut butter
- Sanitarium Veggie Delights
- Tofu
- Dark chocolate

Gosh, the list is endless really!!! I go to my local health store a lot of special 'vegan' treats.

I have designed a vegan recipe site that might help you with making vegan meals. www.recipesforvegans.co.uk.

I tend to use soya milk, tvp, and there are a good range of soya sausages, burgers etc. so you don't have to cook everything from scratch yourself.
