Question:

What foods are high levels ofprotein commonly found i?

mt friend want to become veg, and im helping her find out info for her mom. what foods, beside meat, have high level of protein in them??

Answers:
The "complete protein" (contains all of the amino acids your body needs) is in beans and rice. Any type of beans with rice (brown is best, although I did white for years and that's fine too). Boca Burgers have a high protein content, and are low carb, too. And Morningstar Farms makes awesome breakfast links. Using Ezekiel (sprouted grain) bread instead of regular bread will give 8gm protein per sandwich. And lots of things have some protein - veggies, hummus, soy milk, and of course dairy (if she's not going vegan).

The most perfect protein you will ever find outside of meat is in something called hemp hearts, which are basically shelled hemp seeds. They are delicious, nutritionally dense, and contain four times the Omega 3's as in salmon.

Almost everything has protein..even veggies. Nuts, beans (including soy products) and whole grains are great sources.

Beans (all kinds--baked beans, split peas, kidney beans, navy beans, etc), tofu, eggs, dairy products including milk and cheese, peanut butter, and nuts are all good, meatless, high-quality sources of protein.

well i think beans, eggs, peas, peanuts.... stuff like that
