HI, I really need some advice from you Vegans and Vegetarians out there! I bought two pot belly pigs from a breeder that are bred specially for being peoples pets about 6 months ago. But I am REALLY hungry right now and my wife and I are too lazy at the moment to go out for food. What is the best and most humane way to slaughter and eat these lovable and oh so cute piglets of mine?? Please be specific also. I have very little knowledge on how to butcher animals.

First of all why would u ask a vegetarian they wouldn't have a clue of how to prepare meat lol
Well here some advice from my mom. She said the way they used to kill them is a blow to the head with a shot gun then u take a knife and slit the throat so the blood can drain then u have a couple pots of scolding hot water to pour over the skin to get the hair off if going to make pork skins. Then u can get a skinner to get the skin. Next u can start slicing it down the middled now u can start sectioning the parts u want since this is a pot bellied pig it will have a lot of fat tissue u may not want . U can also have some of the meat cured and smoked. If is a boy pig u have to castrate the testicles and the penis(usually people discard the penis) and if it is a girl u remove the ovaries and discard them. Next u can remove the head if u like but there some good pieces like pig ears, the tounge, the brain and also the nose but i wouldn't eat the nose and the brain it's a declasse in certain parts of Asia. U can also eat the pig feet clean the hair between the hoofs and remove the hoofs. U can also eat the tail remember it runs up his back .also some people usually eat the testicle but i would'nt recommend it plus legend has it only men are supposed to eat the testicles but i don't know why. so that all i know about killing a pot bellied pig hope this information is good enough. Ps. Have more than 2 people helping u with this but the best way to slaughter it is to take it to a butcher and have them to do it it will be more convenient and plus u won't have to see all the disgusting parts and blood.

Others can give you details; my main piece of advice is, once you've hooked them by the ankles, stunned them and stuck the jugular, make sure you catch all the blood so you can make black pudding.
