What are other veggies having for Christmas dinner?!

Question:

What are other veggies having for Christmas dinner?

I'm a veggie and I normally have a nut roast for Christmas dinner instead of the turkey, but this year I feel like something different. What are other people having?

Answers:
I have a great recipe for "neat" balls that are really good. They have eggs in them though (I don't know if you eat eggs). I will often have some stuffing made with veggie broth and cooked in a caserole dish as well. I usually then have some yams and mashed potatoes (with the cranberry sauce on them)

You should try a "Tofurky." It doesn't taste half bad!

Parboiled refugee baby

Vegetable Lasagne yum

Nothing as good as I am.

That includes my brother, the poor bastard, who gets to eat my potato gratin, wicked bean salad etc, but not the dishes they accompany.

I had a nut roast once..it was pretty good! How about baked stuffed acorn squash? There are many recipes for all the different ways to fill them online.

broccoli
broccoli cassarole
green bean cassarole
sweet potatoes
mashed potatoes
pumkin pie
sweet potato pie
apple pie
corn
peas
spinach
carrots
cauliflour mashed potatoes

I'm going to make vegetable "chicken" pot pie, along with a salad and some kind of dessert (maybe cookies).

I'm making this awesome veggie shephards pie from "The Farm" vegetarian cookbook. Have you guys ever checked that book out? It's really the greatest. Its all vegan and every single recipe rocks!

Quorn fillets with vegetarian stuffing , sprouts, peas, turnips and roast parsnips.

Biscuits, pie, corn, squash, fried tomatoes(yum), and corn bread!

The only thing special I have on Christmas day, and to me it is very special Is Baked Bramley apples and baked egg and milk custard.
I still enjoy all my food, and I love the Christmas period.
