Easy portabella mushroom recipe?!

Question:

Easy portabella mushroom recipe?

I need an easy (no grilling) recipe for a vegetarian portabella mushroom sandwhich.

Answers:
Put it in a skillet coated and heated with olive oil, add some garlic salt or whatever seasoning you prefer, cook one side and flip to the other. And Eat.

i searched forever for a recipe where u dont have to grill and this is what i got

1/4 cup olive oil
2-3 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
This is good for 3-4 mushrooms.
Emulsify with a whisk...and really this is the best part. It gets all creamy and thick..i cant stand it!

Marinate them like 1-2 hours

BBQ them...most important! They taste the best this way. Although tonight i used a grill in the oven.bout 15 mins 7 each side at 425..it was good mind you..but BBQ is the ultimate in taste sensation.

or u can go to this resturant

Portebello Mushroom Sandwich

1 cup butter
5 sun-dried tomatoes
1 red chili pepper
1 clove garlic
1 sprig thyme leaves
4 large portabello mushrooms, only caps
sourdough bread
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 bunch watercress
fresh ground black pepper
fresh ground sea salt
Preheat oven 400 degrees F.
de-seed chile.
chop up tomatoes, chile, garlic and thyme leaves.
mix with butter.
season to taste with salt/pepper.
spoon mix into mushroom caps.
bake for 15 minutes.
spread mustard on sourdough bread.
add watercress on top of mustard.
place baked mushroom on watercress.
cover with bread.

Here you go. This is super simple.
Turn on your broiler. Made a marinade out of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil and garlic. Set mushroom cap(s) in a casserole dish. Pour marinade over each mushroom. Broil on each side for 5 minutes. Put on toasted (or not) yummy bread of your choice. Add cheese (if you eat it), tomato, sprouts, lettuce, onion...or whatever you like. Presto.
