What is the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian?
Answers:
A vegetarian eats no meats at all but will eat dairy and other animal products such as eggs and milk, etc. A vegan will eat no meats or animal products at all.
Vegan doesnt eat anything with a face or meat. A vegetarian doesnt eat meat.
Vegetarians don't eat meat. poultry and fish. Vegans don't eat eggs or dairy products. Hardcore vegans don't eat anything from an animal like honey. They also won't wear things like leather. I consider myself a vegetarian even though I eat fish.
A vegan will not eat anything that has to do with or comes from animals, where as a vegetarian just won't eat meat, or meat products.
along w/ all the other answers vegans dont wear animal-made clothing. i.e. leather and other materials and they have organic shirts you can buy.
A vegetarian eats things that have both eggs and dairy, just no meat.
A vegan is a vegetarian that will not eat or use any animal products: no eggs, no dairy, no honey ... only things that are from plants and animals didn't make. They also won't wear wool or use any product that has bi-products in it that come from animals... basically everything from soap to clothes to food has to be simply plant-based.
