What are vegetarians having for Thanksgiving?
I'm a vegetarian myself and usually just make a ton of side dishes and a big salad. What is everyone else having?

can i visit you. I like meat but i love fruits and veggies more, making me differnt from the family. my inlaws eat little meat do to it being healthier but at the holidys they make meat to the extreme
Tofurkey
everything except the turkey
I'm not a vegetarian and don't plan to be. It would be cool and I could be like "oh look at me a vegetarian! oooooh!" But I couldn't live without meat. however for thanks giving if i were, I would eat like twenty thousand pounds of mashed potatoes, a million bread rolls, and lots of green beans.... .mmmm. I usually onlly have a bit of turkey anyway.
Nothing wrong with vegetarians... just I couldn't do it.
I am so glad I am not a vegetarian, you miss out on so many good foods.
I usually have the same thing as you're having.
Tofurky with vegan stuffing (I usually just cook for myself since everyone I know lives out of state so I buy the tofurky wild rice stuffing and its the best!), pumkin pie, pumkin soup, fruit salad and homemade mashed potatoes. All the standard stuff that I'm too lazy to make during the rest of the year!
If you are in a mood for cooking, here is an option,

Homemade baked Mac and Cheese (animal rennet free)
Green beans and almonds with garden herb sauce
Garlic mashed potatoes
Stuffing
Homemade cranberry sauce
A Yam dish
Vegetarian gravy
Tofurkey! I'm finally planning to try it out this year. Should be good.
Also, every year I look forward to baked sweet potatoes and homemade cranberry relish! Yum!
I am attempting the Turtle Island Tofurky roast (& complete dinner) for the first time.
Same as you. I love the all the veggie casseroles. I wish stove top stuffing was vegetarian but I can find any varieties that don't have chicken (or other animal) listed in the ingredients, darn!
Everything , except the meat.
same as you - extra side dishes (and too much bread). I really don't care for tofu.
I am the only vegetarian in the family. We have the traditional Thanksgiving spread. I just eat all the side dishes. I make sweet potatoes w/ a pecan topping-so I get a little protein there.
yah i'm vegetarian too i'm not making dinner though lol and the cook is not a vegetarian.... buy my cousin's friend will be there he's vegetarian, i'm just gonna eat everything i want to but the turkey... no need for salmon or anything
all the trimmings - i made a great veggy stuffing over the weekend that i got from rachal ray on the food network - it's made with crumbled pumpkin muffins, zucchini, apples, onions, sunflower seeds - my kids loved it!!
I had (since im canadian) tofurky and dressing..sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes..veggies..lots of stuff! Basicly everything except the turkey since there is not really meat in a thanksgiving dinner ..and ham i guess..
pasta salad, vegetarian stuffing, mashed potatoes, PIE!
