Was Jesus a vegan?!
Was Jesus a vegan?
If Jesus wasn't a vegan, was he moral in doing so?
Answers:
No. Poor people of this tiime could not afford (!) to be picky eaters, although the Jews did not eat pork.
There wasn't the same kind of animal abuse that we have now so it was different.
huh?????? Vegan???????? What the heck.
no. and i don't believe eating meat is immoral so, yes, he was perfectly moral.
not sure
No
yes
No. Vegetarianism as a whole is reserved for people that can afford not to eat meat. I think a lot of the starving people that Jesus helped, would have been really confused if they were told not to eat the fish or sheep or milk they desired.
Life begets life; the key is to respect it and not abuse what is avialable to you.
No,
If God did not want us to eat meat, then He wouldn't have made it.
So, it was not an immoral decision for him to eat meat.
No, he was not because he ate fish etc. in the Bible.
Yes, he was moral because he made meat so therefor can do what he wants with it. That's like saying you are not moral for eating your salad that you made.
I am a vegetarain but NOT for moral reasons.
He certainly ate fish. He changed the 12 loaves of bread and the few fish into enough to feed a crowd. There was no way he was walking away without his fish sandwich.
jesus christ had dreads=rastafarian=vegan
Jews were allowed Meats/Fish etc after the Flood. But he was a faithful Jew & followed the dietary laws.
No, the Jewish culture (and the bible now) actively discouraged the practise. Plenty of examples of him eating meat.

they didn't have grocery stores where they could buy other foods. if they didn't eat meat, some of them would have starved.
I don't believe in Jesus
I doubt he was.
Survival was too difficult back then to give up food.
perhaps. why not? and the bible is qute flawed especially because of translation errors. in translation the bible says Jesus tells his disciples to 'give them meat' but it was supposed to be "give them food".
it's not hard to be vegetarian/vegan without supermarkets. people have proved that for centuries.
if he wasn't, then no, he probably wasn't too moral. however, at least the conditions weren't so bad back then.
and anyway, he can raise things back from the dead, why not a sheep?
