Which Is A Better Vegan Alternative?!

Question:

Which Is A Better Vegan Alternative?

Starch and veggies, or salads?

Answers:
The key is being well rounded with your diet. You can't have one or the other, you need to combine both to get a full range of nutrients. Make sure you get at least 50 grams of protein per day, more if you're active. You can get a vegan food pyramid at VegSource.com. Lightly steam your veggies instead of boiling to retain the nutrients. Salads are good if you add chickpeas (protein and vitamin b12) spinach, and dark veggies to it. I started putting craisins and almonds in mine for variety. Sweet Potatoes are a wonderful addition to a vegan menu b/c they are healthy and filling.

Vegan for most of my life.

Thats like comparing apples to oranges. They are both good!

salads are basically a bunch of veggies....so you should eat all three...and make sure you eat protein too!! like peanut butter, almond butter, soymilk...

All three+ a whole lotta other stuff! Grains, Vegtables, Legumes(Beans, Peas, Tofu) Nuts and more. Search the net, there many sites with vegan recipies and diet info.
If your looking to lose weight , i gotta exercise with the starchs(carbs).

you need a balanced diet
so you need veggies, fruit, grains, legumes and pulses etc.
it's not advisable to eat only salads, which i assume is just a bunch of vegies, because you need so many other things like carbs
