Is anyone NOT eating a turkey today?!

Question:

Is anyone NOT eating a turkey today?

If you aren't, are you eating a tofurky?

Answers:
This is my first holiday season as a vegan--became a vegan around New Year's.--so I just made my first tofurky. Was going to a family dinner but felt ill and went to bed, and so instead of making and bringing my own food, I made and just ate.

It was quite good, actually. I very much like the taste of the gravy. I "invented" a really good gravy using onions and mushrooms among other things, ten months ago in my quest for improving how to cook for myself, but I actually like theirs better.

And one turkey didn't have to die because of me. I like that.

im not. i'm a vegetarian, so I'm just eating vegetables and making something that looks like a turkey using vegetables. i'm gonna be creative with that.

im eating PIZZA because while my rents are having their litttle party, i decided to gather all the teens and go out to the movies and bowling, afterwards having pizza.

I'm not eating turkey because I don't celebrate Thanksgiving.

i am not NOT eating a turkey

I'm not eating Turkey because it's not Christmas.

I ate turkey a couple of days ago, but I haven't had it for today.

I am not eating turkey or tofurky. It is just another day for me and that means ground meat and salad with fresh fruit after.....

My Thanksgiving already past. It was in October. But I did eat turkey!

No turkey for me thanks...and no...no tofurky either... =)

no turkey for me!!!
but no tofurky either.
i'm gonna stuff myself with bread & pasta & sparkling cider mmm.

No im eating a turkey today.

Nope, I ate my turkey for the day

I made my own UnTurkey, as Now & Zen went out of business -
Make your own seitan out of gluten flour (recipies abound on the internet), roll it out and wrap around your favorite stuffing, place in a cheesecloth and boil for about an hour. Let this cool, then wrap in hydrated yuba sheets, bake for 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on size), covered until the last 20 min, basting a few times during this process.

not me, although i probably should eat something.

Thanksgiving kind of fizzled here. I had a hot roast beef sandwich, but will have a REAL Thanksgiving dinner (with turkey) on Sunday.

Nope, just vegetables and pie. YUM!!!

I'm not. But it sure did smell good.

I'm not.no, I'm not having tofurkey either.

It is the American way to have turkey on Thanksgiving.
So, no, I stick to TRADITION!
