Question:

How do you make vegan pancakes?

Answers:
you use soymilk instead of regular milk.

you use wter instead of milk and no eggs

go to recipes.com and type in veggie pancakes. you will get a great list. then start cooking and enjoy, and you may like potato pancakes they are great to,, no meat there!

I like to use EnerG's Egg Replacer (that contains potato starch and tapioca flour and cellulose gum as the thickener) in my vegan pancakes. This is the basic plain batter.

1 1/4 cups of flour (1 cup of all purpose flour and then 1/4 cup of some speciality flour (amaranth, millet, whole wheat pastry, teff, kamut, oat, or even flaxseed meal)

Pinch of salt

1 1/4 cup of liquid (soymilk, rice milk, almond milk, oat milk, or even water)

1 teaspoon of Ener-G Egg Replacer with 1 Tablespoon Hot water (mixed together to make the binder/thickener of the batter)

1 Tablespoon of Oil (not olive oil, but canola (organic) or grapeseed)

Mix together till moistened and pour on a griddle.

Usual recipes but with egg replacer and a milk substitute.

(i make them small like pikelets) my tried and true recipe:
3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup wholemeal plain flour (or just plain white flour)
pinch salt
1tbsp white sugar
tsp baking powder
1cup soymilk
1/2-1 cup water
1tbsp vegan margerine
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

sift dry ingredients. crumble in marerine and work into breadcrumb-like mix. add vanilla essence then gradually stir in water and soymilk.
heat vegan margerine in pan. cook as usual.
