Best way to make stirfry?!
Best way to make stirfry?
what kind of spices or w/e do u put into ur stir-fry?
Answers:
in a wok with olive oil.
add garlic powder or fresh garlic with a little soy sauce
stir fry is good to experiment with. i usually take frozen veggies and tofu- or rice-, season them with lots of spices and put it all in a big frying pan. i usually put the tofu in first because it takes longer to cook. sometimes i will do an asian seasoning stir fry with soy or teriyaki sauce and ginger. other times i will use garlic powder, italian seasonings, and seasoned salt. just play around with different flavors!
I would put virgin olive oil, vegtables, salt and pepper, a splash of lemon or lime juice, tony chacerie's and maybe some type of meat depending on your preference.
I usually put a little olive oil, thinly sliced strips of chicken or steak, some soy sauce, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms.
Here is a list of great stir fry recipes for you.
Thank you,I am very hungry now..lol

BEEF AND BROCCOLI STIR FRY
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup dry Sherry
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon (packed) chopped garlic
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1 pound flank steak, cut diagonally across grain into thin strips
1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Cooked white rice
Whisk first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Add meat; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours.
Blanch broccoli in large pot of boiling salted water 2 minutes. Drain. Rinse under cold water; drain well.
Heat oil in heavy large wok or skillet over high heat. Drain meat well, reserving marinade. Add cornstarch to reserved marinade and mix until smooth; set aside. Add meat to wok and stir-fry until almost cooked through, about 2 minutes. Add broccoli and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Add reserved marinade mixture and boil until sauce thickens and coats meat and broccoli, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve over rice.
Serves 4.
Use a wok or a deep curve teflon pan if you don't have a wok.
*** first have all veggies and condiments prepared, ready to be just tossed in the wok because this a fast way of cooking
** Add some peanut or olive oil to the wok, on a hi flame
(smoking point) add the chopped or juliane veggies and saute for a minute or two, then add some chopped garlic & ginger, teriyaky and soy sauce, some veggie stock and once comes up to a boil add some cornstarch diluted ion water to make the sauce thick and yummy. Ad as little or as much of liquid depending of how much sauce you want.
*** I also use some fish sauce, curry powder, cayene pepper & paprika or any kind of flavoring and seasonigs you want to change the flavor of your stir fry veggies.
That's funny because that's what I'm going to cook this sunday!!!
The pan should definitely be very hot first as you're cooking this very fast. Veggies should be the main attraction, nice colorful veggies.
Mines will have peppers, onions, basil, jalapeno pepper, portabello mushroom (the only kind i like..). Actually this was all pre packaged by Whole foods. It just look so yummy when I saw it at the store!. I will stir fry all of this with just a little tofu, Nama shoyu (unfermented soy sauce) and ginger in the pan and have this over some brown rice. I'm getting hungry now...
Cook in olive oil, but drizzle sesame oil on at the end - a lil bit goes a long way! During cooking add some some soy sauce and red pepper flakes.
